India’s latest labour survey (PLFS), released on 15 October, shows that 5.0% of people aged 15 and above were without work in September 2026. That is the same as August and 0.2 points lower than a year ago. Villages did better at 4.2%, while cities stood at 6.9%. The rate had touched 5.5% in May and June, so there is some relief.

Most of these application windows have closed, so use the time to prepare for the next ones. Reports say RRB Group D (around 30,000 posts) is likely but not yet confirmed. Apply only on official websites. A genuine recruiter never asks you for money to give a job.
